Join Genealogy Friends at the following events at WO Haggard Library, 2501 Coit Rd., Plano, TX. Doors open at 10am.:

LearnN February 25, 2012

Land records are some of the earliest records available for our ancestors. Join GenFriends on Saturday, February 25th at WO Haggard Library for two classes on land records.

The first class will focus on the BLM website. This site contains records of land purchases and homesteads from the Federal Government. The second class is "Land Records at Your Local Courthouse". This covers purchases from one party to another. The speaker is Barbara Coakley.

Doors open at 10:00, classes start at 10:30. A $10 donation is requested to purchase materials for the Genealogy Section of the Library.
